Cavity Control, Dry Mouth, Sensitivity & Whitening

Cavity Repair and Control

For those with existing decay (mild to severe), the only remedy is to fill the cavity. Early detection and treatment will help prevent the decay from worsening. White restorations made from composite are very strong and look like natural teeth. Once the decay is removed and the teeth are filled, an ongoing program of cavity control maintenance is required to prevent further decay.

For those with borderline decay, cavities that have been restored, or xerostomia (dry mouth), cavity control is done through a maintenance program to reduce the risk of developing further decay.

Dr. Swift and his team can recommend a custom maintenance program of anti-cavity products, such as Carifree, and home care specific to your needs.
